ROBOTICS
The Y.E.P. robotics program allows the development of skills for teamwork, effective communication and problem solving challenges. The students will construct solar powered robots and build on crucial technological skills.
Critical
Thinking
The Y.E.P. Program introduces most of its students for the first time to the game of chess. Chess is a strategy game that requires forethought, patience, presence, and critical thinking. Our kids are learning these skills while having fun with this classic game.
FINANCIAL LITERACY
The Y.E.P. program teaches the kids the fundamentals of finances such as the value of money and how to manage it. We give the students games and real world scenarios that cause them to become more aware of the financial institutions around them.
The children are learning about the skills needed for good communication. In a world today where communication occurs mainly through written technology, the capacity to participate in civil discord is dwindling. Y.E.P. aims to reignite the emphasis on sound arguments and critical thinking.
